First Casting of the Manifold Mold |

| This picture shows the mold right after the resin has set-up. Note the flash around the top of the trough and the clay that was used to plug the side of the mold. (Later this was repaired by pouring RTV into the mold opening with the mold on its side.) The stubs of the arm and the imitator tube were sanded off with a Dremel tool. Clean up of the cast piece included filling air bubble holes and pits with automotive spot putty and trimming any flash with a Dremel tool as well. |
