| The mold has had all of the notches cut into the top, it is important keep that pattern irregular by using different sizes and numbers of notches along the top. Now it is important for a thin coating of Vaseline be applied to the inside of the opening and inside of each notch to provide a barrier when the RTV is poured for the top. (Put Vaseline on the top of the mold as well.) The Vaseline simply makes it so that the RTV will not stick together. |
